This renovated 19th century hotel overlooking Restauradores Square is located in the heart of Lisbon, with views of the majestic St. Jorge Castle.

Those looking to explore the city will love the hotel's excellent location on the end of Avenida da Liberdade, one of the city's main streets. Walk north to find Lisbon's Champs Elysee, leading to Marques Pombal Square and the popular Eduardo VII Park.

South of the hotel is Rossio, where you will discover many cafes offering delicious goods. Stroll down into colourful Baixa, where you will find the unique Santa Justa street elevator providing superior views of this interesting quarter. Stay on Rua Augusta for shopping, or walk further south for Praça do Comércio and a refreshing breeze from the river.

The hotel is excellently located for the attractions of Lisbon. The Restauradores metro station on the Linha Azul, can take you to Baixa- Chiado or Marquês de Pombal, where you can change lines.

Castelo de São Jorge (800m) - Located on the highest hill of the city, enjoy the spectacular views from this old castle.

Torre de Belém (8.5km) - In the 16th century, this tower, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was used to defend the Tagus River's banks.

Staff were very good. Location was excellent

The hotel is getting a little tired and may need a makeover soon - but it was very comfortable and atmospheric

The room was lovely! High ceiling, good fursnitures,it makes me feel “belle epoque”atomoaphere.And of course its location was excellent.

Hotel staffs were less professional such as I had expected as a five-star-hotel.One day my room was not cleaned until two o'clock! And sometimes I had much more information about local tranportation than the concierge.But,of course,they are a little fault.I was satiafied with staying there.

Excellent Location! Recommend it to anybody.

A bit poor beds for married couple, but overall experience was good! Only non-somking rooms is minus for me personally. And don't trust the presonnel recommendations for restorants. They're recommendations are good, but probably you expect some more.

The location.

The High Speed Internet did not work in my room so I had to go the second floor hotel computer to work. Also if it did work the connection was at the bed and not at the desk, so it would of been uncomfortable workspace.

Splendid old-fashion style hotel, in fact a palace. The suite was well furnished, large and confortable. Location was ideal for sight seeing.

The location is great, exactly in the city center, overlooking Placa do
Restauradores. There is a metro station just around the corner and you
can get anywhere in no time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and
the hotel itself is beautiful.

The room-service leaves a lot to be desired. The selection is really
poor and when I asked for "Basket with season fruits" I got a small
plate with an orange, an apple, a semi-rotten strawberry and a kiwi.
From a 5 star hotel I would have expected much more.

Convenient city centre location. Friendly and efficient staff in all departments. Large room with plenty of wardrbe space.

Central location can make it noisy at night and at rush hours.
The metro line runs right underneath and can be noisy.
